Eminem LP Album The Eminem Show 2023 (Deluxe Edition) 20th Anniversary

The beginning of January isn’t exactly packed with new releases but until we gain momentum, we do have some really great new stock and news of some exciting things to come in 2023, including a big sale and loads of mystery boxes containing absolute gems. 

New Music Releases January 2023

The Godfather Part III (OST) - Carmine Coppola & Nino Rota Limited 180G Black & Silver Vinyl LP

The Godfather III was scored by Carmine Coppola and Nino Rota, who also composed the music for the first two films of The Godfather trilogy. The score includes the track "Promise Me You'll Remember" which features vocals by Harry Connick Jr. and received a nomination for both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.

The Godfather Part III is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on silver & black marbled vinyl.

Iggy Pop - Every Loser

Iggy Pop is a singer, songwriter, musician, author, record producer, DJ, and actor whose epic body of work has earned him both worldwide critical acclaim and fanatic cult success Credited as "The Godfather of Punk", spearheading the '70s punk and '90s grunge movements. 

Anti-Flag - Lies They Tell Our Children

Talking about the Lies They Tell Our Children album the band state "The album itself is the first conceptual album the band has ever done, spawned out of a compulsive need to not just comment on the dystopian corporate wasteland we all face but to trace it back to the origin of this fate; the political policies, laws, cultural shifts, and lineage of injustice that have led us to the world we live in today."

The band finishes, "Like the band itself, of course, the album is an anti-war statement both in the literal and figurative sense.

Melanie Martinez - Cry Baby Deluxe Edition 2x Transparent Baby Blue Vinyl LP

Melanie Martinez's debut album "Cry Baby" has remarkably kept growing in stature since its 2015 release, now approaching its high-water mark of 1 BILLION global audio streams for the second consecutive year. The RIAA recently re-certified the record at 2x platinum, in large part due to TikTok trending moments for several of the album's tracks. These trending moments, occurring over the course of 2020-1, most notably included the digital bonus cut "Play Date," which became a TikTok phenomenon and is now Melanie's most popular song with over 700M streams.

On this expanded deluxe edition, "Play Date" and 2 additional digital bonus tracks ("Teddy Bear" and "Cake") are – for the first time – added to the original, standard vinyl album. These songs were only previously available on vinyl on the now out-of-print, limited edition Extra Clutter EP from 2016.

With an expanded booklet featuring 3 new illustrations for the 3 bonus tracks, this deluxe edition will be the one, primary Cry Baby vinyl product moving forward.

The Murder Capital - Gigi's recovery

The Murder Capital's second studio album Gigi's Recovery, produced by John Congleton, will be released on January 20, 2023, via Human Season Records. The CD will be housed in a printed inner sleeve in a recycled wallet-style jacket. Painting by Peter Doyle and designed by Aidan Cochrane. The Murder Capital's first album 'When I Have Fears' had all its songs written and recorded within the first 9 months of the band knowing each other. Now, with 'Gigi's Recovery', the band had to learn to navigate their personal relationships through the relationships they harnessed with these new songs. Without knowing what these songs would sound like, the band knew what they wanted them to feel like- and worked backwards from there- "We had this slightly tongue-in-cheek mantra at the near-beginning of writing this record, it was - The evolution will not be compromised. This kept us on a course, even when we didn't know where we were going". And that's exactly how The Murder Capital ended up with an album that is both totally pure and yet completely confident in its direction.

The Rolling Stones - The Rolling Stones In Mono Limited Edition 16x Coloured Vinyl LP Box Set

The entirety of the band's studio output in the 1960s, pressed in a different colour for each title. Original 14 mono albums plus a special collection – Stray Cats. Stray Cats (2-LPs of single A & B sides plus the 1964 The Rolling Stones E.P. tracks), incorporating every 1960s Rolling Stones track that isn't found on the other 14 albums (an additional 24 tracks).

This limited edition numbered box set includes a 48-page lie-flat booklet with a 5,000-word essay by Rolling Stone writer David Fricke and colour photos. Mastered in Direct Stream Digital (DSD) from the original mono master recordings by acclaimed Grammy award-winning mastering engineer Bob Ludwig. Lacquer cutting by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios.

Green Day - Nimrod XXV

Nimrod, Green Day's fifth studio album, was originally released on October 14 1997. The Billboard Top10 LP declared "Green Days best!" by Kerrang was driven by the hit singles "Hitchin' A Ride", "Redundant", "Nice Guys Finish Last" and "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" the latter of which has sold 5 million copies in the US alone.

This 25th Anniversary Edition includes the original album, one disc of previously unreleased Nimrod demos, and a live set from Philadelphia recorded one month after Nimrod was released. The 14 track demos disc includes two unreleased Green Day tracks ("You Irritate Me" and "Tre Polka"), plus a cover of the classic Elvis Costello song "Allison" (previously unreleased). The live album was recorded at The Electric Factory in Philadelphia on November 14 1997. The 20-song set includes several songs from Nimrod, plus fan favourites from their previous albums and singles.
