4 the Brotherhood, the project of half-Filipino, half-Jamaican multi-instrumentalist and producer JR Graham, was crowned as 2024's winner of the coveted Record Store Day Unsigned competition. Chosen from over 500 entrants by a panel of industry experts, 4 the Brotherhood won the chance to have the EP mastered at the iconic Abbey Road Studios.

Originating from Surrey, JR was influenced by indie music but quickly found a lack of diversity in that scene, sparking his desire to break down stereotypes and become an authentic voice for representation, diversification and unity.

His music is known for its unmatched energy and stage presence and a recent performance to over 600 people at the prestigious Troxy London saw 4THEBROTHERHOOD and his band dressed in hospital gowns performing up-tempo track 'Adrenaline Rush' in honour of the music video he self-produced, which went on to be nominated for best music video at the Youth Music Awards.

Since winning the EP, 4THEBROTHERHOOD has participated in a talent development programme with CharmFactory, to support this career launch with the foundations and tools for long-term success.

Nina Nesbitt, a judge of this year's RSD Unsigned Competition, described 4THEBROTHERHOOD's music as having a "great energy - fresh and different from anything else at the moment, but also with a nostalgic feel".
