British rock band Marillion, founded in 1979, are often referred to as the leaders of the neo-progressive movement of the early 80s. Over the course of 20 studio albums, the band has become one of the most commercially successful progressive rock bands and are the most prominent representatives of this genre today. They are purveyors of soulful, powerful, and deeply-moving music, with a long-standing reputation of impressive live shows and an imposing, faithful and loyal global fan base. With their recent studio album "An Hour Before It's Dark", the band's highest charting album across the globe (#2 in UK and GER album charts), Marillion have shown that they continue to stay as brilliant and vital as ever while consistently dodging categorization by crafting distinct, evocative music.

Since 2002 and in a 2-year cycle, Marillion welcome their dedicated fans to a very special weekend: the Marillion weekend. On three nights, Marillion perform three different shows with different setlists consisting of full records played from start to finish, fan favourites and rarities. Fans travel from all over the world to be part of these truly amazing nights. From Friday 17th March to Sunday 19th March the Marillion weekend took place at Center Parcs, Port Zélande, The Netherlands. On Saturday night Marillion performed their latest and most successful album "An Hour Before It's Dark". With their imposing live show containing stunning projections and laser effects, Marillion once again proved to be one of the leading audio-visual musicians of the present time.
